September Toning - legs and core

Grab a chair for this one, but not to relax in. We'll be doing several sets of squats with a little arm and core work.

Make sure you use proper form for the squats. The motion is similar to sitting in chair and if you're not sure if your form is right, have a seat, feet float on the floor, a little more than hip width apart. Ok, enough resting, start to stand up, just lift your butt off the seat, and that is a squat position. It might feel a little awkard if you haven't been using the proper form in the past (or have never done a squat), but you will get used to it. Your upper body should be leaning forward and your knees should be in line with your ankles.
