August - Upper Body Toning

This video focuses on the upper body, working the arms, back, shoulders and abs. You can use a light hand-held weight, or wrist weight, if you want to. Whether you use a weight or not, you can use your body's resistance to increase the effectiveness of the exercise. For example, when the arms are overhead and we are doing "pull downs", pretend there is heavy weight held to the ceiling with a magnet. Tighten your arm and back muscles to pull that weight off the magnet.


I am a Zumba certified instructor and an AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) certified Group Fitness Instructor.  My interests include being healthy and fit and helping others find their way to health and fitness.
